This whole site is about spotting chickens. When you spot them you have to say, "Chicken."

Those are the rules of Chicken Spotting. Without rules there would be chaos. Chickens are incredibly adept at attacking when things are most chaotic.

The yelling of their name also alerts them to your dominance.

Imagine we meet in a dark alley. If before you can get close enough to assault me I were to yell, "Heifer!" you would surely back away and reassess the situation before proceeding further.

This is the ultimate goal with the chickens. Get them thinking. The more they think the less they feel, so let's have chicken for every meal.
